Is it really free?

Yes. Pay-as-you-earn is free for up to 25 active students. The only cost is a 2% platform fee on card payments — and you can pass it to the payer with one toggle.

When should I switch to Studio?

When you collect more than about $1,950/month, or when you pass 25 students. We'll email you once — quietly — the month it starts making sense.

Where does my data live?

Encrypted on our Frankfurt and US-East data centres. Nightly backups — 30 days on Studio, 7 on Pay-as-you-earn. Full CSV / JSON export any time — no lock-in.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel Studio and you drop back to Pay-as-you-earn with your data intact. Pass 25 students on PAYG and new invoices pause — the app keeps working for the ones you already have.
